With over 25 years of engineering and management experience—including the last 16 years focused on mining—Martin has worked across surface and underground operations in a range of commodities and countries. He has held key roles in both traditional and autonomous mining environments, including greenfield ramp-ups and the design of complex mine automation systems. Martin’s career spans engineering design, operational leadership, and mining technology innovation. He has led multidisciplinary teams, delivered advanced mining solutions, and contributed to major projects with companies such as FMG, Rio Tinto, BHP, Barrick, Newcrest, and AngloGold Ashanti. Drawing on a strong background in off-highway vehicle design with Caterpillar, JCB, and Powertrans, he brings a unique perspective on applying engineering innovation to mining challenges.
